Our core ethos for Pro Organiser Academy is to show you how to set goals to grow and scale your professional organising business while working on your business mindset to empower you and those around you. We practise what we preach, and part of that organisation involves clearly setting out how we will deliver our services to you from the outset. If you are planning to join the Members Club (“the Membership”), then you must read these terms and conditions in full prior to purchasing.

Membership Terms: Key Details

The terms cannot be varied, and in proceeding to purchase the Membership, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms. The terms and conditions set out below apply to the services offered by Pro Organiser Academy. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which Pro Organiser Academy (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides services to you as a purchaser of the membership. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.

Membership Outline

The Members Club is a membership platform for professional organisers who want to take their businesses and goal-setting seriously. For professional organisers who want to be a part of a supportive and motivational group of like-minded individuals while learning new ways to build their businesses for higher revenue and more time freedom. The membership is an ongoing commitment where you can get regular support and guidance whilst making friends with other members because the self-employed life can be a lonely one.

The aim of the membership is to provide you with the tools, understanding, and support to grow and scale your business by setting realistic monthly goals. The information is not tailored to any specific person but includes information tested and used across our own businesses, The Space Creator and Pro Organiser Academy, as well as with other Professional Organisers that we have coached. This membership is for professional organisers at any stage in their business. The core part of the membership is the twice-monthly live support sessions. So, whilst the additional resources may be helpful for some, the regular accountability and support will help everyone. Membership Specifics

There are four elements to the membership:

i) Monthly Goal Setting, Planning & Reviewing Sessions

ii) Monthly Q&A Sessions

iii) Weekly Motivational & Inspirational Emails

iv) A Private Facebook Group

Live Goal Setting, Planning & Reviewing Sessions

All live sessions will be hosted by Amy, founder of Pro Organiser Academy. The monthly sessions will take place via Zoom for approximately 1 hour. These sessions are not interactive to ask questions live by speaking with Amy, though you may comment in the chat box. Should you have any technical questions, these will be answered there and then, should you have any questions relating to your personal decluttering situation, these should be saved for the live Q&A session.

During each monthly live session, members will have the opportunity to decide and plan out their business goals for the month, utilising the carefully designed workbook to help. Amy will talk through each section of the workbook, giving you quiet time to think and make your notes whilst also giving you tips and things to think about to help your decision-making process and choosing your goals carefully. Should there be time left after talking through the workbook, Amy may ask if anyone would like to share their goals for the month. The session will be a maximum of 1 hour but could be less.

The information and guidance will be based on Amy’s experience and expertise as a professional organiser and declutter coach who has worked with over 150 clients in person to declutter and organise their homes efficiently and effectively and helped thousands of women worldwide through her extensive social media and blog content, with sensational feedback. On top of this, Amy has researched the human mindset over the last decade, continuing to learn more every day about mental and physical health and wellness, particularly relating to women. Amy has years of experience with business systems, marketing and social media, having grown previous accounts and @amythespacecreator to communities of over 20,000 and leveraged audiences to scale and drive business revenue.

Live Question & Answer Sessions

Once a month, you will get the chance to ask questions about all things business, marketing and mindset-related. Given Amy’s success as a professional organiser and declutter coach, you are welcome to ask questions relating to this, too, and get tailored support in a hot-seat type scenario, where you can ask Amy. All Q&As will be delivered via Zoom for 60 minutes and hosted by Amy. This will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your circumstances and get support. Please bear in mind that your questions will be answered in real-time on Zoom and therefore, the rest of the group will be privy to all information.

Weekly Motivational & Inspirational Emails

Each week you will receive a little pick-me-up email to inspire and motivate you to take action and move the needle in your business. Sometimes a little nudge can push you to do something that could give you a real cash injection, boost your confidence or simply get you out of that procrastination cycle.

Private Facebook Group

You will have access to a private Facebook to support you during the Membership. The intention of the Facebook group is to provide community support and a network of individuals at similar and different stages of their professional organising journey and who are facing or have already faced similar challenges.

From time to Amy may post and offer support in the Facebook Group, but there is no guarantee that posts will be responded to immediately or that any Facebook mailboxes will be monitored.

Please be advised that whilst we hope that you will be able to utilise the Facebook group, we make no guarantees as to the availability of the group and/or the content within the group at any time.

Behaviour

It is requested that, at all times, your behaviour towards others is polite and respectful. We will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any other members. Should your behaviour be deemed offensive or inappropriate, we reserve the right to remove you from the membership with immediate effect.

Disclaimers

The aim of the membership is to provide you with the tools, understanding and support to scale and grow your business by setting achievable and realistic goals month by month. Your time and business situation is individual and personal to you, and whilst the strategies and techniques which we will provide are tested, it is not intended that you will attend a Zoom session, watch a video or read a workbook and that your business will become and overnight success. Businesses take time and effort to grow; there is no magic pill to success. Like decluttering, it is a process, and it takes consistent effort, determination and stepping out of your comfort zone to get results!

We make no guarantees or claims as to the success of any member. Each individual is unique, and their thoughts, circumstances, motivation and determination levels are unique. The aim is that by attending the twice-monthly sessions, working through the training and resources and taking advantage of all of the elements which the membership has to offer, you will have new information, strategies and techniques to create a streamlined, focused and successful business.

All information provided will be general information and guidance and will not be bespoke advice. We are not responsible for any action or inaction which you take as a result of the information within the membership. We are not responsible for any loss of opportunity or any investments you make.

No content in this membership should be construed as medical advice, whether mental or physical. If you believe you require medical attention, you should seek assistance from a medical professional immediately.

We ask that all members of the membership respect the rights of others in respect of their behaviour and privacy. We will not be responsible for the actions of any members, including for any disclosures made by any members based on information which has been shared within the membership.

Contact And Schedule

It is the intention that the membership will run continuously and that any training material, live Q&As, and live goal-setting sessions will be provided as set out above. Should an unforeseen reason arise which causes a session(s) to be postponed, they will be rearranged as soon as possible.

Throughout the membership, we will be available by email Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm via amy@proorganiseracademy.com and will respond as soon as possible and within 48 hours during the hours stated.

If you have a technical query relating to accessing the membership, please include “Tech” in the subject line of your email correspondence.

You may see us post on social media outside of our core hours. Not all of these posts are live; many will be pre-scheduled. Amy may also appear on Instagram Stories outside of core hours on @amythespacecreator. This social media account is partially a lifestyle account, and Amy may not be officially working at the time of appearing on the stories. We are passionate about supporting everyone in the membership, and where we can, we may respond to you out of hours, but we make no guarantees that this will always be possible.

Payment Terms

The cost of the membership is set at the time you subscribe. On subscription, you will agree to monthly payments via Stripe, taken on the same day each month. Your membership fee will remain the same during the length of your membership and will not increase. If you should leave the membership and return at a later date, you will pay the going rate which may have increased for new members since the point at which you left.

Privacy And Confidentiality

We utilise Flodesk to manage our communications with you and, from time to time, may utilise the Facebook Pixel analytics tool.

During the course of the membership, you may have access to confidential information, particularly the personal affairs of others in the Members Club. In accepting these terms, you agree that you will not use or disclose to any person, organisation or company and shall use your best endeavours to prevent the publication of any confidential information relating to any other member.

You accept that any unauthorised disclosure of personal or confidential information belonging to another may amount to immediate dismissal from the membership. Should you decide to leave the Membership, then you remain bound by the confidentiality and privacy obligations.

Please be aware that sessions may be recorded, and your name and image/video may be captured. The training recordings will be kept and made available to others in the membership. If you provide or share any information within these sessions about yourself, that information will be shared within the group. Should you not wish to be recorded, please ensure that if you attend any training, your camera is switched off and your name field is changed to “Attendee” with your initials so that support can still be offered, but no personal identifiable information will be captured. A photograph or screenshot may be taken during the session for our social media stories. Amy will let you know when this is happening and you may turn your camera off at that point if you do not wish to be shown. You will not be tagged in Instagram stories unless you specifically ask Amy.

Refunds And Cancellation

It is our aim that you will be completely happy with the Membership and find educational content, networking opportunities and form friendships. However, we appreciate that there may come a time when you wish to leave the Membership.

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel and obtain a full refund within 14 days from the date of subscription. Refund requests should be made in writing to amy@proorganiseracademy.com, and a full refund will be provided within 14 working days.

In the event that one or more training sessions have already taken place within the first 14 days following your subscription, you are still entitled to request a refund, but the value of the session(s) shall be deducted from the amount paid by you, along with any reasonable costs which we have born in respect of the administrative costs of commencing the membership.

We are not obligated to refund any amounts paid where cancellation requests are made following the 14-day cancellation period.

Should you wish to cancel your membership, you can do so at any time, provided you are a pay-monthly member. Once you cancel, you will still have access to the Members Club up until the time of what would be your next payment, your membership will cease at this point. There are no refunds for mid-month cancellations, so please ensure you make the most of the Members Club for the remainder of your membership. For quarterly and annual memberships, you may cancel at the point in which you are asked to renew your membership. If you are not 100% sure and committed to joining, please do not join initially with a quarterly or annual membership, as refunds cannot be given.

We reserve all rights to cancel the membership for any reason without prior notice. In such circumstances, a refund will be provided for the remainder of that month as applicable.

Intellectual Property

During your time as a member, you will be provided with membership materials. At all times, the intellectual property rights and copyrights connected with those materials remain with us. You have the right to use the materials as learning tools, but you are not permitted to duplicate or provide copies to third parties. We retain and reserve all of our copyrights.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens if I can’t make a live session?

As far as possible, the live sessions will be held on Zoom. They will be recorded, and the link to watch will be sent to you by email within 48 hours following the end of a live session and/or added to the portal and the Facebook group. From time to time, technology may fail, and the recording may be unavailable or of poor visual or sound quality, but we aim to record all live sessions.

2. What if I need additional support?

Additional support can be offered to each member in the form of 1:1 support or advice. We are happy to support you as required. Please contact us directly at amy@proorganiseracademy.com. Additional charges will apply.

3. What if I am ill during the membership?

If you are ill or unable to attend a live session for any reason, you can watch the recording of that session. If you are ill for an extended period, please let us know, and we will support you wherever we can. The great thing about the membership is that it is all online, so you do not need to travel or get out of bed to get value from it; you may also have your camera switched off during live sessions.

4. Is the membership suitable for all people and those at all stages of business?

The membership is for professional organisers and other service-based business owners who want the accountability and support of the membership to achieve their desired business goals. This membership does not provide advice on scaling a professional organising business by adding employees; we do not cover any kind of employment law, but it does provide advice on scaling with new online products and services. The accountability is helpful to professional organisers at any stage of business, new of highly experienced.

General

We intend to rely on the written terms set out in these terms and conditions for the services we provide to you in the delivery of the membership. These written terms shall constitute the entire agreement between us.

Should there be any conflict between these terms and any membership hosting platform or payment gateway, these terms shall prevail.

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of your service. Any changes will be notified to you as soon as possible.

If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any such modification or deletion shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.

These Terms are governed by English law. The Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter and proceedings arising out of the Membership.
